IP Parking has been given the order for a new on-line parking reservation system for Amsterdam RAI.
Set to launch in September 2012, the new system will allow visitors and exhibitors to book their parking spaces at RAI on-line with a Credit Card or iDeal at the RAI parking web shop.
If availability allows, IP Parking says it will still be possible to make bookings or change your booking during the show.
During the booking process, visitors will be asked to enter their licence plate number. When the licence plate is unknown, such as if you intend to arrive in a rental car, you will be issued with a reference number on your confirmation.
Access to RAI’s parking facilities will be fully automated through LPR or entering the reference number on a touch screen.
In a further development, TransPark Systems (TPS) has been appointed the authorised dealer of IP Parking systems for parking and revenue control in Canada.
Kumar Sukhra, managing director of Ontario-based (TPS), says: “The IP Parking Systems are one of the few parking and revenue control systems in the market that are ready for the changes that will hit the parking industry in the upcoming years.”
