Black & McDonald is partnering with Rhythm Engineering and Smart Microwave Sensors to deliver ITS solutions for Canadian municipalities, regions, and the Ministry of Transportation.
Rhythm Engineering's In|Sync Adaptive Traffic Control System adjusts signal timing and sequencing based on real-time traffic conditions. The system also assesses volume and delay for each vehicle
phase and makes real-time adjustments to serve demand.
The Smartmicro UMRR-0C 2DHD|3DHD object tracking sensor detects and tracks up to 256 stopped and moving vehicles in up to eight lanes. The radar provides a field of view up to 100 degrees, and a range of up to 450m, and 3DHD delivers high resolution in dense traffic.
