All smiles at the UK Pavilion
UK tech companies have come together to highlight the country’s principal role in the development and integration of connected and autonomous technology on a UK Pavilion here at the ITS World Congress in Montreal.
Hosted by the UK’s Transport Systems Catapult and supported by C-CAV (Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles), Innovate UK, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the UK Department for International Trade, visitors to the pavilion will see self-driving vehicles designed and manufactured by RDM Group and Westfield Autonomous Vehicles. Both companies are currently pioneering the first live city trials of autonomous shuttle pod vehicles in the UK.
Immense Simulations, Nicander, and the Satellite Applications Catapult, will also be on the pavilion, demonstrating, respectively, autonomous fleet management systems, intelligent mobility software, and the use of satellites to tackle transport challenges.
