is showcasing a tool at the ITS World Congress which provides companies using electric delivery vehicles with cost and energy savings made along routes.
The UK company says its Basemap EVR shows the amount of carbon dioxide prevented by drivers that have made the switch to electric.
According to Basemap, the solution provides routing for electric vehicles using detailed Ordnance Survey data and removes range anxiety by ensuring the battery is sufficient to carry out all deliveries.
Mark Gallagher, CEO of Basemap (right), says: “The tool can measure areas which impact the battery performance of an electric delivery vehicle such as steep hills and vehicle weight.”
The Basemap EVR will be available at the end of the year.
