is showcasing the outputs of a UK initiative which has established a simulation environment to help support the operational delivery of autonomous mobility fleets.
Called Talon, the three-year research and development (R&D) project was carried out in collaboration with Improbable and Cubic and was finished ahead of its estimated completion in May 2019. The company says it has now delivered a new generation of scalable fleet management tools and established multiple data and simulation interfaces which feature customisable user interfaces.
According to Immense, the simulation engine can integrate with third-party modules such as Improbable’s SpatialOS and Unity.
In 2016, Immense won the £3.2m collaborative bid from the UK government’s £100m Intelligent Mobility fund, administered by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles.
