Nicander is demonstrating Curo360, a web-based, open source back office solution for system management.
Users can configure the modular system to accept all types of input (including loops, lidar, video and data) and then set rules for automatic activation and alerts/notification in any number of incident and event scenarios.
When applied to a traffic control system, Curo360 can include automated detection of incidents and congestion and activation of variable speed limits signs, equipment failures and even monitoring data for the roadway, bridges, barriers, gantries and signs.
Curo360 is scalable to cover systems controlling a single city to a national motorway network and provides various access levels to reflect organisational responsibilities, including remote access from portable devices. Services can be hosted on users’ servers or in the cloud.
