For instance, for departments of transportation, it will combine road weather data acquisition and management services, visualisation and alerting services, and traffic data and camera feeds - all seamlessly integrated in map displays for timely traffic control decisions, such as holding an amber signal light longer when heavy fog persists.The progressive solution relies on the industry-leading Telvent OASyS DNA Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to automatically coalesce weather and operations data from disparate systems, while honouring all associated business rules.
