News headline syndication

We'd like to invite you to host our news headlines on your website. Your visitors will see the news as it breaks. You'll get automatically updating content on your site and the service is free for everyone. The headlines link back to the detailed news reports on our website.

There are two versions of the code. One uses Javascript (recommended for everyone) and the other uses an RSS newsfeed (recommended for experienced webmasters).

Using the Javascript syndication code

The Javascript code comes in two versions, one of which you can customise the appearance of.

Simple version

Copy the code from this box and paste it into your webpage where you would like our headlines to appear:

You can change the maximum number of headlines displayed. To change the number of headlines you see to a maximum of ten, for example, change the code to read ?number=10.

Customised version

There's also an advanced version which gives you more control over presentation.

Use this code:

The parameters used are:
number - the number of headlines displayed
table_border - the thickness of the headlines box border (in pixels)
table_bgcolor - the colour of the headlines box background
table_bordercolor - the colour of the headlines box border
font_color - headline text colour
font_face - font used for the headlines
title_font_size - size of text used for headlines (font size attribute)
