Setsuko Hattori of Aisin

The future of in-cabin safety is on show for all to see at the stand of Aisin, a global Top 10 Tier 1 automotive supplier.

The company’s advanced In-Cabin Monitoring System is a powerful fusion of millimetre wave radar, cameras and seat-integrated heart rate sensors designed to protect every passenger. From detecting distracted driving and occupant behaviour to preventing child entrapment, the system ensures a safer, smarter ride.

Meanwhile, Aisin’s automated entry system uses perimeter monitoring to recognise occupants and cargo – intelligently opening and closing doors for seamless access and heightened security.

It is all presented under Aisin’s vision - safety and security initiatives through ITS toward zero traffic accidents. Vistors to the Aisin stand are being immersed in safer, smarter mobility through interactive demonstrations and expert-led discussions. Among the technologies on display is Aisin’s Vehicle Integrated Control: Personalised Safety Experience. This enhances driver comfort and safety by anticipating driver needs and facilitating secure automated driving.

Key features include cognitive load evaluation, hands-on-wheel detection and multi-source driver-state analysis. The technology is being showcased through comprehensive video presentations with components on display for visitors to examine up close.

A range of the company’s electrification products and systems highlighted as well, including its cooperative regenerative braking system, aerodynamic devices, eAxle and more.

Plus, there is a “first look” at Aisin’s road maintenance solution (ARMS), now being deployed in partnership with the city of Cibolo, Texas. This AI-powered smart cloud-based damage detection software turns real-time vehicle data into actionable insights for safer, more efficient infrastructure.
