Stalker Radar has introduced its Stalker Street Dynamics EZ Speed traffic radar, which the company says combines compact size and a keen price with strong functionality.
The EZ Speed is a solar-powered speed and messaging radar packed into a small trailer that can be deployed by one person from police or municipal public works departments.
It combines an 18-inch PMG display with radar and messaging capabilities. It can display speeds, text messages, images and animations. For actionable insights, a traffic data collection function comes as standard, which enables the agency operating it to collect data such as vehicle counts, classifications, 85th percentile speeds and other categories of statistics required for enforcement planning or grant applications.
The system has an optional Street Dynamics web portal that allows operators to remotely access the radar. Messages can be updated, content can be scheduled and traffic data downloaded from the agency’s offices.
With its compact design, the EZ Speed is designed to be highly mobile and easy to store when not in use.
