Accurate wireless vehicle detection
Swiss company Shockfish will unveil its Tinynode wireless vehicle detection system, based on its home-brewed lowest power electronics and its multi-hop, self-configuring, self-healing mesh wireless communication protocol. The device features advanced vehicle detection algorithms, relying on local earth magnetic field perturbations created by vehicles.
Shockfish says the system yields 98% and more detection accuracy and better than 99% communication reliability. It is currently available for mass deployments, as well as a full-featured starter kit for evaluation purposes, including a complete Web application.
