Innovations in vehicle detection and classification solutions
Two Australian companies who were previous exhibitors at Intertraffic will be combining their expertise to offer vehicle detection solutions at Intertraffic 2012.
Traffic Tech will be highlighting its Ezyloops, preformed inductive vehicle detection loops which are currently being installed in the resurfacing of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
EzyLoops come as Surface Mounted vehicle detection pads and Sub-Surface vehicle detection loops for the control of traffic lights, boom-gates and other vehicle management and access control systems that require vehicle loops to be installed without compromise to the asphalt pavement or concrete slab structure.
Meanwhile, Traffic Innovations will be presenting a range of wired and wireless solutions for sensors and warning devices. Core to the product range is the iStud vehicle detector which uses a low power magnetic sensor to determine vehicle presence, speed and classification. The advantage is the additional data that is collected, reduced installation costs, significantly reduced damage to the pavement and ability to interface into existing traffic light controllers.
