Those looking for a state-of-the-art FMCW milli-power OEM radar designed for presence indication, stopped traffic/incident detection and volume measurements with up to six user-specified lanes of detection should consider Houston Radar’s PD300.
A target-tracking distance-measuring radar, the PD300 features a distance measurement resolution of 0.6cm and consumes only 0.18W, making it ideal for solar- and battery-powered applications. Six onboard trigger outputs can be mapped to any combination of lanes and the onboard flash memory stores lane-by-lane vehicle volumes for up to six months.
Typical applications include incident detection, ground loop replacement, multi-lane traffic counters, mid-block detectors and vehicle-actuated signals. The competitively priced PD300 is FCC pre-approved, carries the CE mark and is available worldwide.
Houston Radar will also be showing its upcoming multi-lane side-firing speed radar which will allow speed, volume and classification measurement from the roadside.
