Econolite and Sensys Networks have announced that the two companies have expanded their private label sales and distribution agreement. As part of the updated agreement, Econolite will have distribution exclusivity in select US markets, and is able to offer new software monitoring and data collection applications that are essential for ITS.
The agreement update represents the success of Econolite’s partnership with Sensys to deliver more accurate and reliable ITS-based in-ground detection solutions to the industry.
“As our customers’ transportation management needs evolve to require higher technology solutions, it has placed greater importance on detection solutions that are more accurate, reliable, and multi-tasking,” said Econolite director of international sales and in-ground sensors, Melvyn Haxby.
“Our customers have found that our AccuSense line of wireless sensors to be a highly performing and cost-effective inground detection solution.”
The expanded sales and distribution agreement builds upon the strategic collaboration between the two companies that began in 2014.
The agreement includes distribution of two key modules of the Snaps (Sensys Networks Archive, Proxy, and Statistics) software platform, SensDiag and SensFlow.
Snaps is a server or cloud-based platform that simplifies data collection, network management, and communications with a network of IP-enabled access points and associated sensors and repeaters.
