Day 3
Q-Free is integrating Intelight, which the company is acquiring, into OpenTMS. Intelight provides traffic management products including Maxview advanced traffic management system  (ATMS), traffic controllers, traffic control cabinets, smart signals and web-based central software systems.

By combining Q-Free's off-theshelf, cloud-enabled products with Intelight technology, Q-Free will be able to offer a complete corridor management system to handle the entire end-to-end incident management process. OpenTMS is a platformindependent, extensible, ATMS solution built around an open, modular architecture, enabling the system to be seamlessly integrated with Intelight products. “Intelight's web-based technology will also enable Q-Free to get into the connected vehicle market,” said David Markt, VP, advanced traffic management solutions, Q-Free North America. The integration of Q-Free and Intelight products will be completed over the next six months. Meanwhile, Q-Free is acquiring Intelight via a five-year option programme ending in 2020.
