Five innovative Australian future transport and mobility start-ups have come to the ITS World Congress, supported by Austrade, Australia’s trade and investment promotion agency, to present their products and systems on the world stage.
Sydney start-up Spot Parking is promoting its Parking Finder which allows drivers to find the best parking option in real time and cities to manage complex parking rules.
Super Loci uses computer vision to analyse the movement of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. The company’s secure login lets clients upload videos of any streetscape: the patented software analyses the number of pedestrians, by age and gender; bicycles, by bicycle type; and vehicles. It then displays a map that is anonymised and GDPR compliant.
Liftango was awarded a three-year contract to provide corporate rideshare to the largest business park in the southern hemisphere - Macquarie Park in Sydney.
Meanwhile, Fleetsu is a smart, online platform for connected vehicles, machinery and equipment. It provides businesses with online access to deep analytics into every connected vehicle, piece of machinery or asset.
The fifth start-up is Carcloud whose goal is to transform the car rental industry into something that renters love. The company says it does this by providing the best tools and technology to its partners.
