Upgraded RFID windshield tag

700 KSW Microtec and Metalcraft have announced availability of Metalcraft's RFID windshield tag that delivers extended read range, memory and privacy for vehicle applications including automated vehicle tracking and access control. The upgraded performance comes from a new KSW Microtec WindSpeed RFID inlay featuring the Impinj Monza 4 RFID tag chip family. The passive RFID label provides a read range over 10m and supports 496 bits of EPC memory and 512 bits of user memory.
