Mobile and web development company 4xxi is to provide software solutions for L-Charge's mobile trucks that will serve as an off-grid electric vehicle (EV) charging network in London.

L-Charge CEO Dmitry Lashin says: “Using Hydrogen or an LNG/H2 mixture instead of connecting to the power grid connection is the most efficient way to provide power on-site. Low carbon fuels are currently the most economically feasible solution and can be used as a bridging technology towards a carbon-neutral solution such as hydrogen. Even using pure LNG to charge EVs we are already substantially reducing emissions.”

L-Charge says its mobile trucks can charge charge a regular car for 60 miles at approximately four minutes.
EV owners can use the app to call a mobile truck or book one in advance at a pre-scheduled time.

Evgeny Scherbak, chief business development officer at 4xxi, says: “You can’t underestimate the importance of mobile in today’s business world. Whatever you’re doing, you doing it for the end consumers: your clients. You don’t simply optimise your business for mobile; you optimise it for people.”
