143 Truvelo is showcasing its Trusign vehicle-activated sign for speed compliance and traffic management and the Check Point System for spot/section speed measurement and journey time data-gathering activities, at Intertraffic.

Trusign can be deployed in and around industrial and residential areas to help promote compliance with posted speed limits.

Check Point, designed for above-lane mounting, combines radar speed measurements with automatic number plate recognition with the intention of creating new possibilities for road and safety management. The innovation is currently in development.

In addition, the company’s comprehensive back office solution will help police and enforcement authorities manage the full scope of activities from a central command centre.

David de Beer, Truvelo’s production and project manager, said: “For schools, we can get speeds at certain times of the day. In the industrial sector, plants with low-speed limits, the product can make sure that employees adhere to speed limits.

“The device features more graphics than other smiley faced products and can go full colour any icon. The compact design is installed with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.”
