AutoCrypt to showcase its new SCMS dashboard

Autocrypt has always prioritised security for connected and autonomous driving, highlighting the need to focus not simply on the technology for autonomous vehicles, but securing the entire C-ITS environment (including infrastructure, pedestrians, and networks) before vehicles hit the road. This vision has brought Autocrypt to focus on V2X communications, the foundation of autonomous driving.

At last year’s ITS World Congress, Autocrypt highlighted its AutoCrypt V2X security  software solution, designed to secure V2X messages by integrating into vehicle on-board units (OBUs) and roadside units (RSUs).

This year in Los Angeles, Autocrypt is showcasing AutoCrypt V2X as well as its new security credential management system (SCMS) dashboard, AutoCrypt IMS (Integrated Management System). The dashboard functions as a centralised SCMS deployment management system, supervising the entire certificate life cycle in real time for both static and dynamic management operations. Authorised system participants can access, oversee, and manage their digital certificates (issuance, revocation) through a dedicated, customised interface.

The dashboard goes one step further. It oversees certificates and managing systems operations throughout all regions, regardless of the SCMS. This is because Autocrypt’s V2X security offerings are compliant across all major SCMS standards (US-SCMS, EU-CCMS, and China-SCMS).

Demands have been on the rise for a more convenient method of managing different SCMS protocols in a single interface while continuing compliance with specific regional requirements. AutoCrypt V2X and IMS meet this demand to continue to advance the secure, safe adoption of autonomous driving environments.
